Searching for a cheap private MBBS seat in Rajasthan? Here is the hard truth first: the fee details we checked show no private college under ₹70 lakh in tuition alone, and the lowest private general-seat tuition is ₹18.9 lakh a year. But 1,039 private seats were vacant after Round 3, and a stray vacancy round is running right now. This guide separates what is verified from what is rumour, so you can plan without overpaying. Information verified on 17 October 2026.

Have Rajasthan MBBS Fees 2026 Officially Come Down?

No. We found no official notice cutting private MBBS fees. Private tuition is approved by the state Fee Regulatory Committee (FRC), and colleges themselves say fees may change after FRC review. Medical Dialogues reports the counselling board will not change merit, reservation or admission rules just to fill seats.
What changed is vacancy, not price. After Round 3, about 1,039 MBBS seats were vacant across 15 private colleges (731 general and 308 management), while government seats were all filled. Reported reasons include rule changes for out-of-state reserved candidates, 1,100 new private seats and college location. Any 'discount' you hear about is unverified until it is in writing.

Low-Budget and Affordable MBBS Colleges in Rajasthan: What Is Verified

  • Ten colleges list the same lowest general-seat tuition, ₹18.9 lakh a year: AIIMS Bedwas, Ananta, Arya, Bharat Vikas, Dr B. S. Tomar, Geetanjali (Jaipur), JIET, Prince, Sudha and Vyas. So no single college can be called the cheapest.
  • Lowest management-seat tuition in the table is Pacific Medical College (₹24.5 lakh a year), then Ananta and Bedwas (₹25 lakh).
  • Under ₹50, ₹60 or ₹70 lakh: none of these private general seats qualify on tuition alone. Government college seats are far cheaper (about ₹60,800 a year per Careers360), but they were all filled.
  • Sudha Medical College's total course fee is listed at ₹86.72 lakh (general category) by Careers360, a secondary source.

Tuition vs Complete MBBS Package

Our arithmetic, for illustration only: ₹18.9 lakh a year over 4.5 years is about ₹85 lakh in tuition. Add hostel (₹2 lakh to ₹7 lakh a year), caution money, miscellaneous fees and food, and the real bill rises well above that. For example, Sudha's listed double AC hostel at ₹4 lakh a year adds about ₹18 lakh over 4.5 years. Ask each college in writing how many years it charges and whether the internship year is included.

Low NEET Score MBBS Admission in Rajasthan: Realistic Chances

A low score does not close every door, but it does not open one either. Reported rules matter more than marks alone:
  • Medical Dialogues reports that in Round 3, candidates below the unreserved qualifying mark of 213 were not considered, and out-of-state reserved candidates were treated as unreserved. Check the current bulletin for the stray round, since rules can differ.
  • So a 200 score sits below that reported Round 3 mark. Scores such as 250 or 300 clear it, but allotment still depends on merit rank, category, quota, seat availability and your ability to pay.
  • All India candidates under clause XI 'Other' are considered after the state merit list for earlier clauses.
  • Category-wise cutoff: no verified 2026 category-wise closing marks exist for Rajasthan private MBBS yet. Previous-year figures are only a guide.

Checklist Before Paying Any Admission Amount

  1. Pay only through the official counselling portal or the college's official account, never to an agent.
  2. Match the fee to the approved fee notice. In October 2025, Rajasthan warned private colleges against charging unapproved management-quota fees and ordered refunds with 12% interest (Medical Dialogues).
  3. Get a written fee schedule for all years, including hostel, deposits and miscellaneous charges.
  4. Ask about refund terms and the bond or deposit rules before choice locking.
  5. Treat any promised 'package', discount or guaranteed seat as unverified unless it is on a written, official document.
  6. Keep every receipt and the allotment letter.

Conclusion

Fees have not officially fallen, but vacant seats and the stray round give families a live chance to compare options. Verify every figure, budget for the full package, and follow verified updates on CaderaEdu.
