About B.Pharm
A Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) is a four-year undergraduate program for students who have completed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics (PCB/PCM). It builds a foundation in drug formulation, pharmacology, and pharmaceutical sciences, qualifying graduates to register as licensed pharmacists or move into pharmaceutical R&D, manufacturing, and regulatory roles.
Most B.Pharm seats are filled through state-level entrance exams (each state running its own CET) or direct admission based on Class 12 marks, with a handful of institutes accepting JEE Main scores. GPAT becomes relevant later, as the entrance route into M.Pharm and a qualifier for AICTE scholarships. The program covers core pharmaceutical sciences in the first two years, followed by applied subjects, industrial training, and a final-year project.
