For the Government/State Quota (SQ), the annual MBBS tuition fee is approximately INR 1,54,321. For Management Quota (MQ), the annual fee is approximately INR 12,00,867. NRI quota fees are higher and students should contact the college directly. Additional fees for hostel, library, laboratory, and caution deposit are charged separately.

Admission is strictly based on NEET-UG scores. Students must participate in the Karnataka NEET UG Counselling conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). Seats are allotted under State Quota (85%), All India Quota (15%), Management Quota, and NRI Quota. Muslim minority candidates can apply under the minority quota with a valid certificate.

Al-Ameen Medical College is a private, minority-aided medical institution. It is run by the Al-Ameen Charitable Fund Trust and is recognised as a Muslim minority college under KRLMPCA. It is not a government college.

The college offers MD and MS programs in 13+ specializations recognized by NMC, including General Medicine, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Community Medicine, Anaesthesiology, Radio-Diagnosis, Dermatology, Chest Medicine, General Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, and ENT. Total PG intake is approximately 75 seats. PG admission is through NEET-PG scores and KEA/MCC counselling.
