ASMC Amethi is affiliated with King George's Medical University (KGMU), Lucknow. This affiliation differentiates it from several other new ASMC colleges in UP that are affiliated with ABVMU.

The annual MBBS fee at ASMC Amethi is approximately ₹36,000–₹40,000 as a government medical college, making it extremely affordable. Total course fee for 4.5 years is approximately ₹1.8–2.0 lakh (excluding hostel and mess). The fee is regulated by the UP State Fee Fixation Committee.
