Frequently Asked Questions
CCMGMC Durg is currently a Government college. It was originally established as the first private self-funded medical college of Chhattisgarh in July 2013. The Government of Chhattisgarh successfully acquired it in 2021, converting it into a full government medical college under the Department of Medical Education, CG.
CCMGMC Durg has an NMC-approved annual intake of 200 MBBS seats — the highest of any medical college in Chhattisgarh. Of these, 30 seats (15%) are under All India Quota (MCC) and 170 seats (85%) are under CG State Quota (DME Raipur).
Exact annual fee is not published on the official website. As a government college in Chhattisgarh, tuition fee is highly subsidised. A mandatory ₹25 lakh compulsory service bond applies to all government MBBS seats in Chhattisgarh. For current fee details and bond formats, refer to: ccmgmcdurg.ac.in/admission_procedure.html or contact +91-94790-02006.
Exact college-specific cutoffs are published by DME Raipur and MCC post-counselling. For CG government medical colleges (2024 trend): General category state quota approx 550–580 marks; OBC approx 530–560 marks. College-specific data available at dme.cgstate.gov.in and mcc.nic.in after counselling rounds.
