Yes. Gandhi Memorial Hospital was added as a second clinical training campus in 2013, expanding the clinical exposure available to MBBS and PG students beyond the primary JNM Hospital campus.

125 MBBS seats are approved by NMC for AY 2024-25. Of these, 19 seats (15%) are under the All India Quota (MCC counselling) and 106 seats (85%) are under the West Bengal State Quota (WBMCC counselling). LOP has been granted for 125 seats again for AY 2025-26.

COMJNMH is unique among West Bengal government medical colleges in that it is a constituent institution of the West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS). Both the college and the JNM Hospital are directly funded and managed by WBUHS and the Government of West Bengal, rather than the state Health Department.
