Student reviews indicate 'good placement record for PG students but tough for MBBS students to get placed with high packages.' MBBS graduates primarily pursue NEET PG (for MD/MS) or join government hospitals via Telangana rural service bond. DCMS offers ECFMG and related services on campus for USMLE-aspiring graduates. The Deccan Alumni Association has chapters in North America (DAANA), Middle East (DAAME), and Europe (DAAE) — providing global placement networks. The 1,000+ bed Owaisi Hospital offers significant SR/JR residency positions for PG graduates.

Yes. DCMS is a Muslim Minority Co-Education college governed by Darussalam Educational Trust under Article 30(1) of the Constitution of India. Being a minority college, Cat A (Govt Quota) is 60% (90 seats) instead of the usual 50% for non-minority colleges. However, DCMS admits students from all communities based on NEET merit. Non-minority students can apply through Cat A (state quota) and Cat B (management quota) seats via KNRUHS counselling. Muslim minority students from Telangana and other states of India are eligible for the minority quota seats.
