As per the official DTU Hostel Fee Structure: Single-Seater (Non-AC): ₹60,000/year; Double-Seater (Non-AC): ₹56,000/year; Triple-Seater/Type-I & II Flats (Non-AC): ₹52,000/year; Triple-Seater (AC): ₹72,000/year. DTU can accommodate 1,600 boys and 1,105 girls. Two new hostel blocks were inaugurated in July 2022. Yes, DTU is a government university fully funded by the Government of NCT of Delhi. It is a State Public University established under the Delhi Technological University Act, 2009. This is why DTU's fees are extremely affordable compared to private engineering institutions — B.Tech costs approximately ₹2.47 lakh/year (first year, AY2025-26) compared to ₹5–15 lakh/year at private universities. No management quota exists at DTU — all admissions are strictly merit-based through JEE Main and JAC Delhi counselling.

Year 2 (AY2026-27): ₹2,68,700; Year 3 (AY2027-28): ₹2,86,700; Year 4 (AY2028-29): ₹3,06,700. Total 4-year B.Tech cost: approximately ₹10,11,100.
