The NMC approval was granted for the academic session 2024–25, with the first MBBS batch commencing in 2025–26. It is also affiliated with Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS), Jaipur, which conducts examinations and awards the MBBS degree.

GIMS Jaipur offers 150 MBBS seats per academic year. Admissions are conducted through the Rajasthan NEET UG Counselling process managed by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Rajasthan, via the official portal rajugneet.in.
