GMC Chhindwara admitted its first MBBS batch in 2019; the first graduating batch (2019–2024) is completing internship. Graduates pursue NEET-PG for postgraduate specialisation or join MP government health services. As a government college, graduates are expected to complete a 1-year rural service bond before appearing for NEET-PG. Clinical exposure from the 600+ bedded attached district hospital with 1,500+ daily OPD patients is a key strength.
