Campus
The campus of Medical College Kolkata spans 26 acres in the heart of Kolkata's intellectual district — College Square (Boi Para), College Street. The campus features the iconic Administrative Block with its historic clock tower, the Oval lawn, multiple hospital blocks, the academic building, hostels, auditorium, sports ground, and canteen facilities. The campus is well-connected by metro, bus, and rail. The historic architecture blends with modern hospital and academic infrastructure. The grounds include demonstration rooms, Wi-Fi-enabled academic zones, and unique cultural landmarks reflective of the college's 190-year heritage.

Laboratories
State-of-the-art pre-clinical and para-clinical laboratories: Anatomy (dissection halls with cadavers, histology), Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, and Forensic Medicine. Clinical laboratories within MCHK hospital are fully equipped with modern diagnostic equipment. The college has ICMR-funded research laboratories (MRU, SANKALP, etc.) for specialized research work. All labs are maintained as per NMC norms.

Hostel
Separate boys (New Hostel Building) and girls (Ratri Nibas) hostel blocks on campus. Single and double-sharing rooms with study table, chair, cupboard, and basic furniture. Mess serves three meals daily plus evening snacks/tea. Canteens: one on the 1st floor of New Hostel Building and one on the ground floor of Ratri Nibas. Common rooms for recreation. Annual hostel cultural festival 'Orpheus'. Nominal annual hostel fee (~₹144/year). 24×7 security. Wi-Fi in common areas.

Library
The Medical College Kolkata Library was founded in 1839 — one of the oldest medical libraries in Asia. It houses a vast collection of medical books, journals (national and international), dissertations, theses, and e-resources. The library provides internet-enabled access to digital databases including PubMed, Cochrane, and other biomedical repositories. Separate sections are available for UG and PG students. Wi-Fi access is available in the library and academic building. The library is a research hub, regularly updated with current publications across all medical specialties.

Classrooms & Academic Infrastructure
Spacious lecture theatres with audio-visual systems and projectors. Demonstration rooms for practical training. Smart classrooms in the academic block. Departmental seminar halls for small-group teaching. Anatomy, Physiology, and Pathology museums. Well-maintained dissection halls. Weekly 'item' tests and internal assessments conducted for continuous evaluation. The academic schedule is rigorous — 3 internal exams per year per subject plus final university exams (WBUHS).
