The annual tuition fee for MBBS at GMC Manjeri is approximately INR 23,000 for government quota seats. Hostel and mess charges are additional. Being a government college, fees are highly subsidized.

GMC Manjeri has 110 MBBS seats per year. Of these, 85% (approx. 94 seats) are filled through Kerala CEE State Quota counselling and 15% (approx. 16 seats) through MCC All India Quota.

Yes. MBBS graduates must complete 1 year of compulsory rural/government service after internship before being eligible for PG admission or independent medical practice registration. Skipping service attracts a financial penalty.

GMC Manjeri was officially inaugurated on 1st September 2013 by then Chief Minister Oommen Chandy. It is the sixth government medical college under the Government of Kerala.
