GMC Seoni was established in 2024 and admitted its first MBBS batch in AY 2024-25 after NMC recognition. It is a new government medical institution in Seoni, Madhya Pradesh, affiliated with MPMSU Jabalpur, led by Dean Dr. (Prof.) Parvez A. Siddiqui.

In NEET 2024, the AIQ closing rank for GMC Seoni was approximately 19,318 for the general category in Round 1, making it relatively competitive among new MP government colleges. The state quota Round 1 general category closing rank was approximately 42,030–48,116, with later rounds reaching 1,30,000–1,50,000.

GMC Seoni has 100 MBBS seats annually. 15% (15 seats) are via MCC AIQ and 85% (85 seats) via DME MP state quota. There is no management or NRI quota.

The annual tuition fee is approximately INR 1,00,000 (with a caution deposit of INR 14,000 in the first year, making year 1 approximately INR 1,14,000). Total MBBS course fee approximately INR 5.13 lakh for 5 years. Hostel INR 12,000–18,000/year; mess INR 3,000–4,000/month.
