GAIMS is India's first Public-Private Partnership (PPP) medical college — a unique collaboration between the Government of Gujarat and the Adani Education and Research Foundation (part of Adani Foundation). The government provides land, hospital infrastructure, and regulatory support, while Adani Foundation manages operations, provides managerial expertise, and funds CSR initiatives. This model ensures world-class infrastructure and management quality at a regulated government fee, making it more affordable than purely private colleges while being better resourced than many purely government institutions.
As per the official Medical Colleges Seat Intake and Tuition Fees 2024-25 document, GAIMS Bhuj has: State Quota (127 seats) at Rs.8.70 Lakhs/year (total ~Rs.39.15 Lakhs for 4.5 years), and NRI Quota (23 seats) at $30,000/year.
