In JoSAA 2025 Round 6, the General category closing rank for CSE at IIIT Agartala was 44,304. OBC-NCL closing rank was 16,916. The JEE Main 2024 closing rank was 33,852 (General, last round).

IIIT Agartala operates from a temporary campus at NIT Agartala, Jirania, near Agartala, Tripura. A permanent 52-acre campus is being developed at Bodhjungnagar, Tripura. Students share NIT Agartala's world-class facilities.
