The total 4-year B.Tech programme fee at IIIT Surat is Rs. 8,32,500. The tuition fee is Rs. 86,250 per semester (Rs. 6,90,000 total for 8 semesters). The first semester fee is approximately Rs. 1,23,750 (includes one-time admission fee Rs. 5,000, institute development fee Rs. 15,000, and other charges). Subsequent semesters are approximately Rs. 98,750 each. The fee is the same for all categories; SC/ST/PwD students are entitled to a full tuition fee waiver. Hostel fee is approximately Rs. 51,000 to Rs. 86,000 per year depending on room type.

IIIT Surat is located at Kholvad Campus, Kamrej, Surat, Gujarat – 394190. Since September 2022, the institute operates from its own 28.71-acre permanent campus near National Highway 48 (Mumbai–New Delhi). The campus is 15 km from Surat Railway Station and approximately 32 km from Surat Airport. The campus has modern classrooms with audio-visual aids, smart laboratories (AI/ML, IoT, HPC, Robotics), a library, separate hostels for boys and girls, a medical centre, and indoor and outdoor sports facilities.
