An Indian Air Force MiG-23 supersonic jet fighter aircraft, gifted by the IAF in 2010, is permanently displayed in front of the FET faculty building. One of the very few engineering colleges in India to have a real fighter aircraft on campus. A major landmark and symbol of FET JMI's aerospace engineering identity.

Multiple canteens on the JMI campus near FET providing affordable meals, snacks, and beverages. The campus is known for its food diversity — with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options reflecting the multicultural student community. FET JMI houses 130+ faculty members engaged in active research. Dedicated engineering library at FET with a rich collection of technical books, journals, reference materials, and digital resources in all engineering disciplines. Provides access to e-databases, IEEE Xplore, and NPTEL content. Separate from the central JMI library. Open during academic hours with extended reading room access.

JMI's Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) functions under FET and provides support for startup development, product innovation, and entrepreneurial activities. Hosts workshops, hackathons, incubation support, and industry mentorship for FET engineering students. Works alongside the Entrepreneurship Club and Enactus Club.
