The primary teaching hospital of MRMC — opened January 1967 — a 1,000+ bedded multi-specialty teaching and referral hospital adjacent to the college campus on Sedam Road, Kalaburagi. From 2005, all MRMC clinical teaching moved here from the Government District Hospital. MRMC maintains an active internal Medical Education Unit (MEU) / Medical Education Technology (MET) cell. This cell oversees the training of its own institutional faculty members in modern teaching methodologies, competency-based medical education (CBME), and the Curriculum Implementation Support Program (CISP).

The ECLS (Emergency Care and Life Support) and c-ECLS training at Mahadevappa Rampure (M R) Medical College in Kalaburagi is conducted on-campus in compliance with National Medical Commission (NMC) and Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) guidelines to train undergraduate, intern, and postgraduate medical professionals
