The MIMS Hospital is a 550-bed teaching hospital (operationally expanded to 650–850+ beds per multiple sources) providing 24×7 emergency and trauma care for the Mandya district population and surrounding rural areas. Facilities: ICCU (Intensive Cardiac Care Unit), Medical ICU, Respiratory ICU, Neonatal ICU (NICU), AC Labour Ward, Regional Diagnostic Laboratory, Dialysis unit, Blood Bank, major and minor Operation Theatres, Radiology (X-Ray, USG, CT), Central Lab. Clinical specialties: General Medicine, General Surgery, OBG, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, Dermatology, Psychiatry, Radiodiagnosis, ENT, Ophthalmology, Anaesthesiology, Pathology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Forensic Medicine, Radiotherapy (department present). Heavy daily OPD and IPD footfall from Mandya and nearby districts provides strong clinical training exposure.

25-acre campus directly on Bengaluru–Mysuru NH-275. College building features: 22 departments including Radiotherapy; 5 lecture halls (4 × 120-seat + 1 × 250-seat, all with modern A/V aids); examination hall (350-seat, CCTV-monitored); demonstration rooms; skill labs for procedural training; departmental museums (Anatomy, Pathology, Pharmacology); central stores; student lounges; basement parking. 600-seat auditorium under construction.

Central Library of 1,600+ sq.m. with 8,600+ books, 70+ journals (Indian and foreign), and a fully digital e-library facility with internet broadband (Wi-Fi) connectivity. Seating capacity of 200. In-house reading room in hostel also available (proposed). Research support materials, PG dissertations, and e-resource database access provided.

Separate hostels for UG (MBBS) and PG students. 154 rooms in each hostel (boys and girls) with 2 students per room. Recreation room, kitchen mess, in-house library (proposed), 24×7 water and electricity, and all basic amenities. Faculty and staff residential quarters also on campus.

The campus abuts the Bengaluru–Mysuru highway, making city amenities (Bengaluru 90 km, Mysuru 46 km) very accessible on weekends.
