The annual tuition fee for MBBS at GMC Baroda is approximately INR 25,000/year, making the total tuition fee for 4.5 years approximately INR 1,12,500. The total all-inclusive fee including registration, exam, hostel, mess, and university fees is approximately INR 1.47 Lakhs for the entire course. Hostel fee is INR 5,000 for Year 1 and INR 3,000/year thereafter. Mess costs approximately INR 57,000/year. OBC/SC/ST students receive free textbooks. There is no management or NRI quota — admission is purely merit-based via NEET.
Being a government college, GMC Baroda has a mandatory rural/government service bond. After completing MBBS, graduates must serve in designated government or rural health centers for a specified period. Failure to serve results in a financial bond penalty as per Gujarat government norms. PG graduates (MD/MS) also have a post-PG service bond obligation.
