GMC Baroda offers 176 PG seats across 22 disciplines. MD specializations include Anaesthesiology, General Medicine, Paediatrics, Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Psychiatry, Pulmonary Medicine, Radiodiagnosis, Dermatology, Forensic Medicine, Community Medicine, and Immuno-Haematology & Blood Transfusion. MS specializations include General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, and ENT. Total MD/MS fee is approximately INR 2.07 Lakhs (tuition INR 90,000 + exam fee INR 16,170 + refundable caution deposit INR 1.01 Lakhs). PG students also receive a monthly stipend of INR 25,000–45,000.

Based on NEET 2025 Round 1 data: General (GN) – 584 marks (AIQ) / 565 marks (State Quota); OBC – 574 marks; EWS – 568 marks (AIQ) / 550 marks (State Quota); SC – 520 marks (AIQ) / 514 marks (State Quota); ST – 395 marks (AIQ). SE category cut off was 533 marks. Cutoffs vary each round and each year based on overall competition.

The annual tuition fee for MBBS at GMC Baroda is approximately INR 25,000/year, making the total tuition fee for 4.5 years approximately INR 1,12,500. The total all-inclusive fee including registration, exam, hostel, mess, and university fees is approximately INR 1.47 Lakhs for the entire course. Hostel fee is INR 5,000 for Year 1 and INR 3,000/year thereafter. Mess costs approximately INR 57,000/year. OBC/SC/ST students receive free textbooks. There is no management or NRI quota — admission is purely merit-based via NEET.

Being a government college, GMC Baroda has a mandatory rural/government service bond. After completing MBBS, graduates must serve in designated government or rural health centers for a specified period. Failure to serve results in a financial bond penalty as per Gujarat government norms. PG graduates (MD/MS) also have a post-PG service bond obligation.
