Narendra Modi Medical College, Ahmedabad was established in 2009. The college was formerly known as Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation Medical Education Trust (AMC MET) Medical College and was officially renamed in 2022. It is affiliated with Gujarat University and recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
