The original 50-seat distribution is: Meghalaya (14), Nagaland (10), NE Open for all 8 NE states including Sikkim (18 seats — filled via NEET UG), and All India AIQ via MCC (8 seats). The additional 50 expansion seats are distributed proportionally across these categories.
