MBBS graduates from RIMS Raichur primarily pursue NEET PG for specialisation or enter Karnataka Government Health Services (DMER Karnataka — Medical Officers in district hospitals, CHCs, PHCs). Students also pursue opportunities in AP and Telangana government health services given RIMS's proximity to those states. Being the largest government hospital in Raichur district, RIMS Hospital itself employs many RIMS graduates and interns. Government service as Medical Officers in rural/urban health centres is reported as a common career path. Teaching and research at medical colleges after PG is also pursued.
