As a government medical college, the primary pathway post-MBBS is compulsory rural/government service under the state bond. After bond completion, graduates commonly pursue NEET PG for MD/MS, or join government/private hospitals across Chhattisgarh. Being the only government medical college in Surguja, many graduates serve the local tribal community.
