Yes. Ruxmaniben Deepchand Gardi Medical College (RDGMC), Ujjain, holds the distinction of being the first private medical college established in the entire state of Madhya Pradesh. It was founded in 2001 under the Ujjain Charitable Trust Hospital and Research Centre. It was also the first college in MP to introduce PG degrees in Dermatology, Tuberculosis & Respiratory Diseases, and Psychiatry (from 2009 onwards).

RDGMC Ujjain offers MD programs in 13 specializations and MS programs in 5 specializations — totaling 18 medical disciplines and 107 PG seats.
