Frequently Asked Questions
SAHS and SHRI plan to establish a satellite 100-bed hospital at Moreh on the India-Myanmar international border for primary and secondary care in border areas, and a Rural Health Centre within a 40 km radius of the main campus. The college also aims to introduce paramedical and allied health programs in coming years and evolve into a global healthcare and medical tourism destination.
The teaching hospital is Shija Hospitals and Research Institute (SHRI), a NABH Pre-Entry Level accredited, 350-bed super-specialty hospital with 60 critical care beds. SHRI has a Guinness World Record for removing the largest neck tumor in the world (2006), a NABL-accredited laboratory, and is a leading centre for cardiac sciences, neurosciences, transplantation, interventional radiology, and palliative care.
NEET cutoffs for SAHS vary annually. For State Quota, candidates generally need approximately 480–550+ marks. For Management Quota, approximately 400–480 marks. NRI Quota has a separate process. As Manipur's first private medical college, SAHS's cutoffs are typically lower than government colleges, making it accessible to a broader range of NEET aspirants.
As per the Government of Manipur's official fee notification for AY 2025-26 (5th Batch): State Quota fee is ₹5,00,000 per year; Management Quota fee is ₹17,00,000 per year. Additional charges include a hostel deposit of ₹75,000 and a refundable caution deposit of ₹25,000 at the time of admission. Fees are subject to revision by the State Fee Determination Committee.
