MBBS graduates are required to complete compulsory rural service post-graduation per Karnataka government bond norms. SSIMS&RC has produced many rank holders in both UG and PG programs. Interns receive a ₹60,000/month stipend during the 1-year rural service period post-MBBS internship. The college does not have a traditional campus placement cell — graduates pursue government service, private hospital careers, or PG/SS studies.
