UPUMS has modern lecture halls and seminar rooms across all five faculties. All classrooms are equipped with advanced audio-visual aids and ICT-based teaching tools. Teaching follows the NMC-mandated Competency-Based Medical Education (CBME) framework for MBBS and the NMC postgraduate regulations for MD/MS/DM/M.Ch. programmes. Regular CME programmes, workshops, conferences, and faculty development initiatives are conducted.

UPUMS is spread across an expansive campus in Saifai Village, Etawah District — 20 km from Etawah Junction and 7 km from the Agra–Lucknow Expressway. The campus integrates five faculties (Medicine, Dentistry, Paramedical Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy), a 1,728-bed hospital complex, 425+ doctors, 463+ nursing staff, hostel blocks, library, sports grounds, cafeteria, bank, and residential quarters for faculty — all in a lush, semi-rural setting. The rural location is a deliberate design choice to expose students to community and rural healthcare challenges from day one.

A comprehensive central library with an extensive collection of medical textbooks, national and international journals, e-journals, digital resources, and a comfortable reading room. The library caters to undergraduate, postgraduate, and super-specialty students across all five faculties. Digital database access supports evidence-based medical education and research.

All departments have well-equipped, modern laboratories meeting NMC standards. Special research labs support DSIR-certified research activities. The Microbiology Department has a certified laboratory for Tuberculosis Drug Resistance Testing (proficiency certificate from LPA, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare). The ART Centre provides HIV/AIDS testing and treatment. Central Laboratory services cover Pathological, Clinical Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Histopathology investigations for inpatients.
