The total fee for B.Tech at VGI is approximately INR 2.45 lakhs for 4 years, with a first-year tuition fee of INR 90,000. Management quota fees are slightly higher.

VGI offers separate AC and non-AC hostels for boys and girls on the 65-acre campus. Facilities include 24/7 security, power backup, high-speed Wi-Fi, RO drinking water, hot water, gym, laundry (girls), pantry, TV area, and provision shop.

In 2025 batch placements, 56 companies participated, 243 selections were made with 163 students placed. The highest package was INR 6 LPA and average was INR 2.62 LPA. Major recruiters include TCS, Wipro, HCL, Infosys, Accenture, and Cognizant.

B.Tech admissions are done through JEE Main followed by UPTAC counselling at uptac.admissions.nic.in. UPTAC 2025 registration started May 27, 2025, and closed on July 15, 2025 for JEE Main candidates. 15% seats are filled via management quota directly from the institute. Online application fee is INR 1,100.
