Dr NTR UHS PG Dental Free Exit 2026: Check Resignation Deadline and Guidelines
Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (NTR UHS), Vijayawada, has released a notification regarding the Free Exit facility for Phase-I PG Dental seats under the Competent Authority Quota for the academic year 2026–27.
According to the notification dated September 25, 2026, candidates allotted PG Dental seats through State Counselling in Phase-I can use the Free Exit option to participate in All India Quota (AIQ) Round 2 counselling.
The resignation facility is available from September 25 to September 28, 2026, until 3:00 PM. Candidates who wish to resign must visit their allotted college and submit a resignation along with the prescribed undertaking form.
College Principals are responsible for recording resignations in the college login system. They must also freeze the data by 4:00 PM on September 28, 2026, and email the signed candidate status details to the university's designated email address.
The university has clarified that candidates who use the Free Exit facility cannot claim their vacated seats again. However, resigned candidates may participate in Phase-III counselling, subject to eligibility. Vacancies created through the Free Exit process will be included in Phase-III counselling.
The notice also states that colleges must return the original certificates and the tuition and other fees collected from candidates who resign. Failure to complete the prescribed process within the deadline will render the resignation null and void.
Candidates are advised to complete the resignation formalities on time. The university has stated that no extension will be granted and that dual reporting under AIQ and State Quota is prohibited.
