HP NEET UG Counselling 2026: MBBS BDS Round 1 Admission Date Extended
Atal Medical & Research University (AMRU), Himachal Pradesh has extended the last date for admission to MBBS and BDS First Round of Counselling for the academic session 2026-27. According to the official notice, eligible candidates can now complete their admission formalities up to September 4, 2026.
The extension is applicable to candidates participating in the Himachal Pradesh NEET UG 2026 counselling process for MBBS and BDS admissions. Candidates who are eligible for Round 1 admission and have not yet completed the required admission formalities have been advised to complete the process within the revised deadline.
AMRU has specifically stated that the last date for admission has been extended up to September 4, 2026. Candidates should therefore ensure that all applicable admission formalities are completed within the extended timeline.
Importantly, the university has also clarified that no further extension of the admission date will be allowed beyond September 4, 2026. Candidates should not wait for another extension and should complete their admission process within the prescribed deadline.
The notice has been issued by Atal Medical & Research University, H.P., Ner Chowk, Mandi, and copies have also been forwarded to the Director of Medical Education & Research, Himachal Pradesh, the Registrar of AMRU and the Principals of Government and Private Medical/Dental Colleges in the state.
