Kerala MBBS Seat Matrix 2026-27: Azeezia, Moopen's & MES College Seats
The Government of Kerala has approved the MBBS seat matrix for the academic year 2026–27 for three self-financing medical colleges in the state. The approval was issued through G.O.(Ms) No. 251/2026/H&FWD dated September 4, 2026, by the Health & Family Welfare Department.
The approved seat matrix covers Azeezia Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Meeyyannoor, Kollam; Dr. Moopen's Medical College & Hospital, Wayanad; and MES Medical College, Perinthalmanna. Together, these three institutions have a total of 200 MBBS seats.
Azeezia Institute has 50 MBBS seats, including 8 NRI, 8 All India Quota (AIQ) and 34 Government seats. Dr. Moopen's Medical College has 100 seats, comprising 15 NRI, 15 AIQ and 70 Government seats. MES Medical College has 50 seats, including 25 Community seats, 7 NRI, 7 AIQ and 11 Government seats.
The order provides the approved seat distribution for MBBS admission for 2026–27. Candidates should note that this Government Order is specifically a seat-matrix approval and does not announce a new registration or choice-filling schedule.
