MCC NEET UG 2026 Round 2 Counselling Schedule: Dates & Process
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the Round 2 schedule for NEET UG 2026 online counselling and the seat allotment process. The schedule covers admissions to MBBS, BDS and B.Sc Nursing courses under the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) and 100% seats of Deemed Universities, Central Universities, AFMC, AIIMS institutions and JIPMER at Puducherry and Karaikal.
As per the schedule, participating institutes will complete verification of the tentative seat matrix from September 1 to 2, 2026. The candidate registration and payment process will be conducted from September 3 to 8, 2026. The payment facility will remain available until 6:00 PM on September 8, as per server time.
The choice-filling process will run from September 3 to September 9, 2026, with the final deadline at 10:00 AM on September 9. Candidates can lock their choices from 4:00 PM on September 8 until 10:00 AM on September 9.
Following choice locking, MCC will conduct the seat allotment processing on September 9 and 10, while the Round 2 seat allotment result will be announced on September 11, 2026. Candidates allotted seats must complete reporting and joining between September 12 and 18, 2026. Institutes will then verify the joined candidates' data on September 19, 2026.
