Provisional Seat Vacancy for MBBS/BDS 3rd Round Counselling 2026
Atal Medical and Research University, Himachal Pradesh has released the Provisional Seat Vacancy for MBBS/BDS 3rd Round Counselling 2026. The vacancy list covers seats available under different quotas and categories, including HP Quota, Management Quota and NRI Quota. The seat distribution is further provided across categories such as General, SC, ST, OBC, EWS, Physically Handicapped, Single Girl Child, Ward of Freedom Fighters and other applicable sub-categories.
The vacancy document includes MBBS seats in several government and private medical colleges across Himachal Pradesh, along with BDS seats in dental colleges. Institutions listed include Indira Gandhi Medical College Shimla, Dr Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College Tanda, Dr Yashwant Parmar Government Medical College Nahan, Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Government Medical College Nerchowk, Dr RadhaKrishanan Government Medical College Hamirpur, Pt Jawahar Lal Nehru Government Medical College Chamba and Maharishi Markandeshwar Medical College Kumarhatti, among others.
For BDS, the list includes Himachal Institute of Dental Sciences, Paonta Sahib; Bhojia Dental College and Hospital, Nalagarh; Himachal Dental College, Sunder Nagar; and H.P. Government Dental College and Hospital, Shimla.
The university has specifically cautioned candidates that the displayed vacancies are provisional. Seats may become available during Round 3 because of upgradation or withdrawal by candidates. Therefore, candidates are advised to make their college and course choices according to their preferences and not solely on the basis of the displayed vacancy status.
