Tamil Nadu NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 3 Schedule for 7.5% Government School Quota Released
The Selection Committee, Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DME), Chennai, has released the tentative Round 3 counselling schedule for MBBS and BDS admissions under the 7.5% special reservation for Tamil Nadu Government School students for the 2026–27 academic session.
According to the official schedule, Round 3 registration will begin on September 28, 2026, at 10:00 AM and close on September 30, 2026, at 5:00 PM. Choice filling and locking will take place from October 1, 2026, at 2:00 PM to October 9, 2026, at 5:00 PM. The processing of virtual vacancies is scheduled for September 30, while seat allotment processing will take place on October 10 and 11, 2026.
The Round 3 seat allotment result is scheduled to be published on October 12, 2026. Candidates can download their provisional allotment orders from October 12 to October 14, 2026, until 12:00 noon. The last date to join the allotted college is October 14, 2026, at 5:00 PM.
The schedule mentions a General Rank range of 1 to 3,625 and a NEET marks range of 599 to 177. No processing fee, security deposit, or tuition fee is applicable for candidates under this special reservation.
Candidates should carefully review the eligibility and upgradation rules, complete choice filling within the deadline, and report to their allotted colleges with original certificates for verification.
