Round 1 Allotment for B.Tech / B.Des / M.Tech (Integrated) Now Available
UPTAC 2026 has announced that the Round 1 seat allotment result for B.Tech, B.Des, and M.Tech (Integrated) programmes is now available. Candidates can log in to the UPTAC counselling portal to check their allotment status.
Candidates allotted a seat in Round 1 will typically need to choose between freezing, floating, or upgrading their allotment, depending on their satisfaction with the allotted institute and branch, and complete the required fee payment and document verification steps within the timeline specified by UPTAC to confirm their seat.
Candidates who do not wish to accept their Round 1 allotment, or who wish to be considered for a better institute-branch combination, should review the choice-filling and upgradation options carefully before the deadline, as failing to act within the stipulated window can result in forfeiture of the allotted seat.
