Frequently Asked Questions

SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test) is a national-level MBA entrance exam conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed University) for admission to MBA programmes at 17 Symbiosis institutes offering 29 MBA programmes. Over 85,000+ aspirants appear annually.
Candidates can appear in up to 3 attempts in one testing cycle (3 separate exam dates in December). The best score across all attempts is considered for final admission. Each attempt requires a separate registration fee of INR 2,250.
SNAP has 60 MCQ questions across 3 sections: General English (15 Qs, 15 marks), Analytical & Logical Reasoning (25 Qs, 25 marks), and Quantitative-DI-DS (20 Qs, 20 marks). Total: 60 marks. Duration: 60 minutes. No sectional time limit. Negative marking: -0.25 per wrong answer.
SNAP 2025 was conducted on December 6, 2025 (Test 1), December 14, 2025 (Test 2), and December 20, 2025 (Test 3). All tests were held in CBT mode across 79 cities in India.
SNAP 2025 result was declared on January 9, 2026. The scorecard is currently LIVE at snap2025.ishinfosys.com/SYM-ExamSCD25/. Login using SNAP ID and password. SNAP 2025 score is valid for admission to the 2026-27 academic year only.
SNAP test registration fee is INR 2,250 per attempt (non-refundable). Additionally, a separate programme registration fee of INR 1,000 per programme per institute must be paid. Note: Paying only the SNAP test fee does NOT make you eligible for shortlisting.
Shortlisted candidates are called for GE (Group Exercise) + PI (Personal Interaction) + WAT (Written Ability Test) at the respective Symbiosis institutes. Final merit is based on composite score: SNAP score + GE + PI + WAT + profile factors (academics, work experience). Each institute conducts its own GE-PI independently.
SNAP 2026 registration is expected to open in August 2026 based on the historical annual pattern. Exams are expected in December 2026 (3 dates) and results in January 2027. Monitor snaptest.org for official announcement.
