Instructions to apply online for JEE (Main)-2026 are available in the Information Bulletin available on NTA website under the heading Important Information at Glance.
The Choice of exam cities will be displayed to the candidates based on the permanent and present address filled during registration. Four choices of cities are given to the candidates.

Candidates appearing for the JEE Main exam need to bring several essential items to the exam center. These include a printed copy of their JEE Main Admit Card, which is required for entry. A valid photo ID proof such as an Aadhaar card, passport, or voter ID is also mandatory for identity verification. Candidates should also carry a passport-sized photograph that matches the one uploaded during the application process. Additionally, a blue or black ballpoint pen is necessary for marking responses on the exam sheet. It is important to note that electronic devices, including mobile phones, calculators, and smartwatches, are strictly prohibited in the exam center.
