The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to conclude the Class 12 board examinations on April 9, 2026, marking the end of a schedule that began on February 17. More than 38 lakh students appeared for the exams across India this year.

After the Class 12 result is declared, students planning for engineering can register for JEE Advanced 2026. Those opting for medicine should prepare for NEET UG 2026, expected in May. Delhi University's CUET-based admissions are also expected to open shortly after board results are announced.
