This round covers a total of 3,575 state quota seats, comprising 2,875 MBBS seats and 700 BDS seats, spread across 28 institutes. These include 15 government medical colleges, 6 private medical colleges, 1 government dental college, and 6 private dental colleges. Seat allotment is based entirely on a candidate's NEET UG 2026 merit rank combined with Chhattisgarh's domicile and category rules, and the choices locked before the August 17 deadline; no further edits to choices are possible once Round 1 closes.
