CUET UG 2026 Provisional Answer Key Released by NTA
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the Provisional Answer Key for the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2026 on June 9, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the CUET UG 2026 examination conducted on May 11, May 31, June 6, and June 7, 2026, can now download the answer key PDF from the official website at https://cuet.nta.nic.in/. The answer key challenge window is now open and will close on June 11, 2026 at 10:00 PM.

Objection Fee and Process: Key Rules to Know
Candidates who wish to challenge any answer in the CUET UG 2026 Provisional Answer Key must pay a non-refundable processing fee of INR 200 per question. No challenge will be accepted without payment of this fee. All objections raised by candidates will be reviewed by a panel of subject matter experts. If any objection is found valid, the answer key will be updated accordingly, and the correction will apply to all candidates. Candidates will not be individually notified about the acceptance or rejection of their challenges. The decision of the expert panel will be final and binding.

How to Raise Objections Against CUET UG 2026 Answer Key
Candidates who are not satisfied with any answer in the CUET UG 2026 Provisional Answer Key can raise objections online through the official website. Follow the steps below carefully to submit a valid challenge before the deadline.
- Visit https://cuet.nta.nic.in/ and click on 'Challenges regarding Answer Key' in the candidate activity section
- Log in using your Application Number, Password, and Captcha
- Click 'View Question Paper' to access your recorded responses and the answer key challenge option
- Find the specific question you wish to challenge
- Upload supporting documents and submit your claim
- Pay the challenge fee of INR 200 per question via Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI
- After successful payment, your challenge will be submitted and confirmed
What Happens After the Final Answer Key is Released?
Once all objections are reviewed by the expert panel, NTA will release the Final CUET UG 2026 Answer Key. The CUET UG 2026 result will then be prepared and declared based on this final answer key. The CUET UG 2026 result is expected to be announced between June 25 and July 7, 2026 at cuet.nta.nic.in. Since the exam is conducted across multiple shifts with varying difficulty levels, NTA will apply a normalisation process to ensure fairness before declaring results. Candidates' NTA scores, percentiles, and subject-wise marks will be available on the CUET UG 2026 scorecard.
