How to Download Re NEET 2026 Provisional Answer Key

Follow the steps below to access and download the provisional answer key and your OMR response sheet from the official NTA portal.

  2. Click on 'Display OMR Answer Sheet / Challenge Recorded Response and Answer Key'.
  3. Log in using your Application Number, Password, and Security Pin.
  4. Your candidate dashboard will show the answer key, OMR sheet, and recorded responses.
  5. Select your question paper code — Code 50, 60, 70, or 80.
  6. Cross-check your responses with the provisional answer key.
  7. Download and save the PDF for future reference.

How to Calculate Your NEET Score Using the Answer Key

Candidates can calculate their probable NEET UG 2026 score using the marking scheme below. Keep in mind that one question from Code 50 has been dropped and one question has two correct answers — NTA will handle bonus marks for these separately.

Formula: NEET Score = (Number of Correct Answers × 4) − (Number of Incorrect Answers × 1). The maximum score for NEET UG is 720 marks.

How to Raise Objections Against Re NEET 2026 Answer Key

If a candidate believes any answer in the provisional key is incorrect, they can raise a formal objection through the NTA portal by June 28, 2026 at 11:50 PM. Follow the steps below.

  1. Visit neet.nta.nic.in and click on the answer key challenge link.
  2. Log in using your application number and required credentials.
  3. Select the question you want to challenge.
  4. Choose the answer option you believe is correct.
  5. Upload supporting documents — preferably NCERT textbook references.
  6. Pay the objection fee of Rs 200 per question using Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking.
  7. Submit the objection and save the confirmation receipt.

The challenge fee of Rs 200 per question is non-refundable under all circumstances. However, if an objection is found valid by NTA's expert panel, the question is typically dropped from the paper and all candidates who attempted it receive full marks (+4), regardless of what they originally marked. Use only NCERT textbooks as supporting evidence — personal notes or unverified online sources are not accepted.

NTA Drops One Question, Two Correct Answers for Another

NTA has identified discrepancies in the Re NEET 2026 question paper. Question 26 of Code 50 has been dropped by NTA. All candidates who attempted this question will receive full marks. One other question has been identified as having two correct answers, and candidates who marked either of the two correct options will receive marks for it. These adjustments will be reflected in the final answer key and result.

Re NEET 2026 OMR Sheet Status

The Re NEET OMR Sheet 2026 has been released alongside the provisional answer key on the candidate login dashboard at neet.nta.nic.in. Candidates should cross-check their scanned OMR response sheet with the provisional answer key carefully before raising any objection. If you notice a discrepancy between your actual responses and what appears on your scanned OMR sheet, raise an OMR challenge immediately through the candidate login portal.

Re NEET Result 2026 Expected Date

The Re NEET Result 2026 is expected to be declared by July 15, 2026. NTA will first close the objection window on June 28, assign a panel of subject experts to review all submitted challenges, release the final answer key, and then declare the result. The NEET UG 2026 scorecard will include the candidate's score, percentile, All India Rank (AIR), category rank, qualifying status, and cutoff marks.

What Happens After Re NEET Result 2026
