The National Testing Agency (NTA) has rolled out a dedicated online portal for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidates appearing for UGC-NET June 2026 to submit their scribe details. Candidates who need a scribe's assistance during the exam must act fast, as the registration window closes in just three days.

According to the official public notice dated 18 June 2026, candidates have already received their examination city details through the Advance City Intimation Slip released on 10 June, followed by admit cards on 17 June that confirmed their allotted exam centres. The scribe details portal is now the final piece for eligible PwD/PwBD candidates before exam day.

Who Can Apply for the Scribe Facility?

Only candidates who fall under the eligible PwD or PwBD categories, as defined in the UGC-NET information bulletin, can avail of the scribe facility. For such candidates, the 'Register Scribe Details' button will automatically appear on their candidate login homepage it won't be visible to other applicants.
