About Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan College
Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan College is a constituent institution of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Delhi Kendra, a charitable public trust founded in 1938 by Dr. K. M. Munshi with the blessings of Mahatma Gandhi, dedicated to the promotion of education, art and Indian culture. Bhavan's Delhi Kendra was established on a 6.99-acre campus on Kasturba Gandhi Marg, New Delhi, with the foundation stone laid by Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India, on 31st March 1952, and inaugurated on 16th May 1957. Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan College, founded in 2022, is one of two institutions of higher education housed at the Delhi Kendra (the other being the Leelawati Munshi College of Education). The College is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), with its BCA and BBA programmes approved by AICTE. The College currently offers BCA, BBA, B.Com (Hons.) and BA English (Hons.) programmes under the GGSIPU 5-year UG-PG scheme framework. It follows a blended, participatory learning approach featuring case studies, field visits, live projects, group discussions, seminars and workshops, supported by a well-stocked library and a fully equipped computer lab with internet connectivity.
