Admission Process at Datta Meghe Institute of Management Studies
The MAH MBA CET tests logical reasoning, abstract reasoning, quantitative aptitude and verbal ability. After the result, the state publishes a merit list. Seats are allotted in several rounds on the basis of the percentile obtained, the category of the candidate and the preferences filled in. Candidates who receive a seat must report to the institute, submit their documents for verification and pay the fee to confirm admission.
Apart from the state process, the institute also has institute-level seats which can be applied for directly through the institute's admission portal. For these seats, valid scores in national and state tests such as CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA and MAH MBA CET are considered. Working professionals seeking one of the 30 reserved seats follow a separate registration process notified by the state authorities.
- Register for MAH MBA CET and appear for the test
- Register for the centralised admission process and fill in the preferences
- Check the provisional and final allotment lists
- Report to DMIMS with original documents for verification
- Pay the fee online or at the institute to confirm the seat
- Attend orientation and begin classes as per the academic calendar
The eligibility condition is a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university with at least 50 percent marks, and 45 percent for reserved-category candidates from Maharashtra. Important documents include the CET scorecard, mark sheets, caste and domicile certificates, a non-creamy layer certificate where needed, and photographs. To see last year's percentiles, open the cutoff page.
The schedule of registration, test and counselling rounds changes every year, so candidates should regularly follow the state CET Cell portal and the institute's notices. Preparing early for the CET and keeping the documents ready helps avoid delays at the time of verification. Meanwhile, you can compare the total cost on the fee page.
