Doon College of Education offers four NCTE-approved teacher education programmes: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) with 100 seats, Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed) with 100 seats, Master of Education (M.Ed) with 50 seats, and Master of Physical Education (M.P.Ed) with 40 seats. All programmes are affiliated to Lucknow University, Lucknow.

Admission to B.Ed is through the UP B.Ed JEE (Joint Entrance Examination), which is conducted annually by Lucknow University on behalf of the state of Uttar Pradesh. Candidates who qualify the JEE participate in centralised online counselling where they choose their preferred colleges based on rank and seat availability. The eligibility requires graduation with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates).

Admission to B.P.Ed involves a three-stage process: a written entrance examination, a sports proficiency test in the candidate's chosen sport, and a physical fitness test. The merit list is prepared based on combined scores from all three stages, following the norms set by the affiliated university.
