Frequently Asked Questions

No. DSIMS conducted a PGDM programme up to the 2019-20 batch, but per AICTE's 2020-21 approval-process rules, the Rajasthani Sammelan Education Trust set up a separate sister institution, Durgadevi Saraf Global Business School (DSGS), to run the PGDM from 2020-21 onward. DSIMS's current postgraduate offering is the MMS.

A two-year, full-time Master of Management Studies (MMS) affiliated to the University of Mumbai (120 seats, specialisations in Finance, Marketing, HR and Operations), and a Ph.D. in Management (8 seats), also affiliated to the University of Mumbai.

DSIMS's own website states the total MMS course fee is approximately Rs 4.26 lakh; a third-party listing matching DSIMS's exact specialisations shows a General-category total of Rs 4.60 lakh, while other third-party portals cite figures closer to Rs 3.74 lakh - so the current-year official fee structure should be confirmed directly with the institute.

A Bachelor's degree (any discipline, minimum 3 years) with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved-category/PwD candidates from Maharashtra), plus a valid score in MAH-CET, CAT or CMAT.

Master of Management Studies (MMS), Ph.D. in Management

Durgadevi Saraf Institute of Management Studies (DSIMS): Overview

Notably, DSIMS does not currently run a PGDM programme: it conducted one up to the 2019-20 batch, after which AICTE rules led the Rajasthani Sammelan Education Trust to spin the PGDM off into a separate sister institution, Durgadevi Saraf Global Business School (DSGS), from 2020-21 onward. Prospective PGDM applicants should look up DSGS specifically rather than DSIMS.
