Admission to FOSTIIMA's PGDM is entrance-based: candidates need a bachelor's degree (any discipline) with at least 50% aggregate marks and a valid score in CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, GMAT or ATMA; those without a qualifying national-level score can appear for FOSTIIMA's own FEAT (FOSTIIMA Eligibility & Aptitude Test). All candidates then go through a Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI), with final selection based on a weighted composite of academic record, entrance-exam score and GD-PI performance; relevant work experience receives additional weight given the institute's experiential-learning pedagogy. The 'SELECT GROUP' track additionally requires a CAT/XAT percentile of 75 or above.

FOSTIIMA Business School Admissions

Admission Process Overview

Below is the complete admission information including eligible exams, eligibility criteria, admission process, and important notes for each program offered.

Required Entrance Exams

CAT / XAT / CMAT / MAT / GMAT / ATMA, or FOSTIIMA's own FEAT (FOSTIIMA Eligibility & Aptitude Test) for candidates without a national-level exam score

Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor's degree in any discipline (or an equivalent UGC-recognised qualification) with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks; final-year students may apply subject to submitting proof of graduation by the specified deadline. Indicative cutoff for admission calls is a CAT/XAT score above the 75th percentile, per the official admissions page.
Admission Process
Candidates obtain/download the application form from the official website, submit it with the processing fee (reported as INR 1,200) along with academic transcripts, photographs and entrance-exam scorecards, either in person or online. Candidates without a valid CAT/XAT/CMAT score sit the institute's FEAT test. Shortlisted candidates then go through a Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI); final selection is a weighted average of academic performance, entrance-exam score, and GD-PI performance, with work experience given additional weight for the institute's experiential-learning pedagogy.
