For the 2026-28 batch, the total fee for both the MBA and the MBA (Analytics) programme is Rs. 20,80,000 spread across six terms. The first-year total is Rs. 11,20,000, made up of a one-time admission fee of Rs. 25,000, a caution deposit of Rs. 9,000 and a course fee of Rs. 10,86,000, while the second-year total is Rs. 9,60,000, which is entirely course fee. Over two years the course fee adds up to Rs. 20,46,000. Term-wise amounts and instalment due dates are explained on the course fee structure page.

According to the Institute's data submitted to the National Institutional Ranking Framework in 2026, the sanctioned intake of its two-year postgraduate programmes was 450 students in academic year 2024-25 and 480 in 2023-24. These figures cover the MBA and the MBA (Analytics) together, so candidates should confirm the programme-wise seat split for the current batch with the Admission Office before applying. The same submission reports a total postgraduate student strength of 927, with the overwhelming majority of students coming from outside Uttarakhand, which gives the campus a strongly national peer group.

The Learning Resource Centre holds more than eleven thousand printed books along with online databases, e-journals and e-books, and the campus is fully residential, with a location that places more than 180 manufacturing and service enterprises in the vicinity for live projects and internships. Details of the library, hostel campus, Centres of Excellence and accessibility provisions are covered on the campus facilities page.

Admission to the MBA is through the Common Admission Test followed by shortlisting and a Personal Interview under the Joint Admission Process, while the MBA (Analytics) uses CAT or GMAT scores with its own composite score shortlisting and an online interview. Eligibility rules, selection weights and the document checklist are available on the admission process page.

Minimum CAT percentile cut-offs used for Personal Interview shortlisting, as well as the composite score cut-offs for the MBA (Analytics) programme, are summarised on the CAT cutoff page.

The audited Final Placement Report for the 2023-25 batch records a highest Cost to Company of Rs. 33.12 LPA, an average of Rs. 14.95 LPA and a median of Rs. 14.46 LPA, with more than 190 recruiters participating. A closer look at sectors, functions and recruiters is available on the placements and careers page.

Government of India scholarships for SC, ST, OBC, EBC, DNT and differently-abled students, together with Institute-sponsored full yearly tuition waivers for ten percent of participants, are listed under scholarships.

Together with its residential campus, Centres of Excellence, doctoral programme and executive education portfolio, IIM Kashipur's participation in NIRF under the Management and Innovation categories and its AACSB membership make it a distinctive option among second-generation IIMs in North India, as detailed under rankings and approvals.
