Scholarships and Fee Concessions at LLIM Mumbai

Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulkam Shishyavrutti Yojana

This Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme is available to Maharashtra-domicile SC, ST, OBC, SBC, EWS, and minority-category students admitted through DTE Maharashtra CAP, subject to family income criteria prescribed by the State Government. Eligible students can receive full or partial tuition fee reimbursement as per Government of Maharashtra norms.

EBC (Economically Backward Class) Fee Concession

Maharashtra-domicile candidates belonging to the Economically Backward Class category and admitted through CAP can apply for a partial tuition fee concession, subject to family income limits set by the State Government. This scheme is available at DTE-affiliated, CAP-admitted private professional institutes such as LLIM.

Post-Matric Scholarship for Minority Students

Students belonging to notified minority communities, including Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, and Parsi communities, and enrolled in a recognized postgraduate professional course such as the MMS programme, can apply for tuition fee and maintenance allowance support under Central and State post-matric scholarship schemes.

Applications for the Maharashtra state schemes are routed through the MahaDBT portal, while the minority post-matric scholarship is applied for via the National Scholarship Portal. Since eligibility criteria and income thresholds are revised periodically by the respective government departments, admitted students should confirm the current-year criteria directly on these portals rather than relying solely on prior-year figures.

Candidates should also check whether they meet the underlying criteria before applying for any of these fee-concession schemes, since scholarship eligibility is contingent on a confirmed CAP admission.
